    err..I think that answer no 50 should be C.. and not D..

    There is no copper(II) ion present in this chemical cell. The ions present in sodium chloride solution are : sodium ion, hydrogen ion, chloride ion & hydroxide ion. The one is discharged at copper plate is hydrogen ion.
