Reduction of Copper(II) oxide by Hydrogen
Hydrogen is more reactive than copper. Copper(II) oxide is reduced to copper by hydrogen. The same reaction is used to determine empirical formula of copper(II) oxide in Chapter 3 : Chemical Formulae & Equation.
